More Details...

Hiring someone is a big show of trust. I hope that by providing more details about my experience, you'll see less of me and more of Jesus and the opportunities and mercy He has shown me through years of Christ-centered development efforts.

I moved away from my hometown, Bristol, VA, in 2006 to attend Liberty University, where I studied Business and Cultural Anthropology (missions). While there, I made countless connections with mission agencies and non-profit organizations working around the world. It was my segway into working in the sector full time.

Travelling with WorldHelp's Children of the World choir allowed me to meet literally hundreds of pastors and hear their heart for missions. I got to see every level of missions program, from churches that donate monthly to one organization all the way up to ones that sent countless missionaries to the field.

My time with Serving His Children showed me the ins and outs of parachurch organization operations, fundraising, and international logistics. It was also my first position on a board of directors.

Living in Uganda was otherworldly. Initially, I had started a non-profit and was working with the Ugandan Ministry of Education. We were empowering and training local teachers on how to incorporate Biblical truth into their curriculum, among other things. From there, I went to work for a Ugandan ministry, with my main responsibility being to develop sustainability and the capacity to support themselves financially.

In 2017, my family and I relocated to Lubbock, Texas where I soon became the board chair for a local non-profit that owned and operated a coffee shop. Our mission was to hire and support youth who had aged out of the foster care system. 100% of our profits were donated to local charities. Ultimately, COVID forced us to sell the shop.

Now, I own Hudson Fence Company in Lubbock and am passionately pursuing a career shift into consulting. I'm so happy you're here!

International Timeline

2002-2007

Frequent, extended mission trips in both participant and leader capacities. Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. I organized, recruited, and led groups to several of these countries.

2007-2009

WorldHelp

My first “real” job in the world of missions. I started out cold-calling churches as a booking agent for their Children of the World choir. I then transitioned to spending a year on the road, traveling with the choir as a sound engineer and visiting hundreds of churches.

2009-2012

Serving His Children

A medical NGO based in Virginia and working in Uganda, offered me a position as their U.S. Director. I helped develop partnerships, raise funds, and led multiple teams to Uganda.

Short Term Missions

2012-2017

Uganda

Where to even begin? I started working with the Ugandan government and partnered with schools and educators across the US. I opened a full-time vehicle mechanics shop and conducted business trainings in villages, and grew a farm to over 3,500 chickens, just to scratch the surface!
